Precision-Hayes International provides an unsurpassed range of post-tensioning anchorage and barrier products, as well as a complete line of post-tensioning equipment and pre-tensioned concrete products. We are also a leading provider of engineered extrusions and coatings. Currently, our products are sold in around 50 countries, and are used primarily in the Construction, Mining, and Oil & Gas industries.
We specialize in anchorage and barrier products, including wedges, chucks, and anchors, manufacturing over 400 types of wedges to meet our customer requirements. We also offer stressing jacks, stressing pumps, tendon finishing tools, and strand processing equipment. Formed through a series of industry consolidations, Precision-Hayes International brings 70+ years of experience and expertise from leading brands and businesses.
1946 - Precision Screw is founded.
1988 - Patent for encapsulated anchors is established by owners of the future Hayes Industries.
1991 - Post-Tension Products is founded.
1991 - Hayes Industries is founded.
1994 - Hayes Industries moves to the current Sugar Land location which has undergone several expansions since.
2003 - Precision Screw and Post-Tension Products are consolidated to form Precision SURE-LOCK.
2003 - Hayes Industries acquires Agan Machining; creates Hayes Specialty Machining and adds wedges and metal components to its offering.
2006 - Precision SURE-LOCK is acquired by Actuant Corporation.
2007 - Hayes Specialty Machining adds in-house Heat Treat capabilities.
2014 - Actuant acquires Hayes Industries and Hayes Specialty Machining, consolidates them with Precision SURE-LOCK, and
Precision-Hayes International is formed.
2017 - Seagoville facility receives 20,000 sq. ft. expansion to improve capacity and efficiency.
